wbs soaked 36/48 hours

Guy had 6 jars soaking and was too busy to pc em , probably almost 48 hours now. A few sunflowers trying to germinate, nasty smell, water content okay. Hes rinsing and straining em, still going to pc he thinks.. should he even bother getting his hopes up for these not contaminating? tia

As long as the grains aren't all exploded beyond recognition, he'll be fine.
