does it matter how far appart the cakes are from eachother?

ive got 10 pint cakes that im thinking of cutting all in half and setting in a aqaurium to fruit. now i will just have enough room for them all and they will not recieve the recomended amount of space, either that or im gonna case them, can someone describe the diference in yeild from casings to cakes?

Long as they have enough space in between to fruit adequately, you're fine. There is no accurate comparison between cakes and casings, but it's safe to say that on average, if done correctly, casings will yield you more than cakes.

well u definately failed to tell us ure dimentions of your aquarium or even the volume of it without that all i can tell u is casings are beter than cakes
