Salvia and impotence/infertility?

My lady had a fear of this. Has there been ANY studies done on this? When I do a combo search on the web I can't find anything telling about any tests or effects about this... but I really need to know if it effects my fertility at all.

I wouldnt think so, but I belive there has been very minimal scientific studies on savlia.

you might as well test your fertility on a dosage of pepper or a1 steak sauce...what prompted this fear of yours? just because something is a "drug" that makes you "feel differently" doesn't mean it does anything long term to your biological sequences.

No, I don't think that because it's a drug that it affects my fertility, I was simply curious because my girlfriend was paranoid and said she read something about salvia causing some kind of impotence.

Salvia has been renowned to have aphrodesiac properties.

Meaning enhanced sexual functioning, enhanced sexual experience.

I've encountered nothing anywhere that implicates it's use will render anyone infertile. I think you'll be okay, pal. :grin:

At this point there is no reason to believe that salvia causes any health problems other than the usual effects of smoke inhalation.

since salvinorum A is water soluble i wouldnt think that you have anythiing to worry about, i know that i am still fertile, i have a newborn to prove it!
