Experience all the way. Knowledge is important but experience is where true knowledge comes from. I've met many people who are 'book smart' but still about as dense as a post when it comes to everyday issues.

I believe knowledge is better.

I'd rather have knowledge of something, than have no knowledge but experience.

Quick Example : Id rather know of a shroom that i want to eat but haven't VS Eat a shroom of which I have no knowledge of...

Of course you could flip it around : You know what something is like and how you react to it VS Knowing how others react but not know how it affects you personally.

Well, I'd have to say a both combined is what really matters, but I'd say experience is better, because experiencing something will give knowledge and new light on what was experienced

experience

I totally agree with you, Summit. Experience is a knowledge of it'd own.

Experience for sure. No matter how many books you read, you can't do anything competently until you actually do it, and make mistakes for yourself.

knowledge is a kinder teacher but experience is a better teacher. Some whacky statistics for all you science nuts says that we only absorb like 20% of what we read (half assedly quoted from a teacher who told us to throw away our books) - going on the better is better theory, i'ma have to go with experience.
