Did you know.... 1. 80% of all votes in America are counted by only two companies: Diebold and ES&S.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diebold
2. There is no federal agency with regulatory authority or oversight of the U.S. voting machine industry.

3. The vice-president of Diebold and the president of ES&S are brothers.

4. The chairman and CEO of Diebold is a major Bush campaign organizer and donor who wrote in 2003 that he was "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."

Well I obviously have to ask how Clinton was "allowed" to be president for 8 years when the conservatives are really running a behind-the-scenes dictatorship? I could have sworn I met someone who supported Bush one time so he must have gotten some real votes. no?

lol, its all good.
As I sit back and read some of these posts makes me laugh. Some of them are just false speculation, others are actually worth looking into, but however, no one truly cares. Kinda funny.
Anyways, I just thought I'd post this lyric (who can guess who wrote it?...no google search):
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away; Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air. You better watch out, There may be dogs about I?ve looked over jordan, and I have seen Things are not what they seem.
What do you get for pretending the danger?s not real. Meek and obedient you follow the leader Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel. What a surprise! A look of terminal shock in your eyes. Now things are really what they seem. No, this is no bad dream.
The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want He makes me down to lie Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by. With bright knives he releaseth my soul. He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places. He converteth me to lamb cutlets, For lo, he hath great power, and great hunger. When cometh the day we lowly ones, Through quiet reflection, and great dedication Master the art of karate, Lo, we shall rise up, And then we?ll make the bugger?s eyes water.
Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream. Wave upon wave of demented avengers March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.
Have you heard the news? The dogs are dead! You better stay home And do as you?re told. Get out of the road if you want to grow old.
-------------------- As the life of a candle, my wick will burn out. But, the fire of my mind shall beam into infinite.

What was the point in privatising your election system?
I actually got to count the votes for a poll I helped run in a federal election here a few years ago. No machines, no touch screens, no corporations doing the counting. You get a piece of paper with the candidate's names on it, and you draw an X in the circle beside the candidate you want to vote for. Drop it in the box, and at the end of the night the two people running the poll count all the votes and phoen them in to the national polling station (the votes are also sealed and sent by courier to the national station). All the poll staff is hired directly by the government for the election (it's always just regualr people doing it, you only get paid $100 for 12 hours of work on voting day).
There's really not much room for error/trickery.

Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

I've received a few of those in my inbox over the past few weeks. My response has always been the same:
Dear Left-wing Nut, I read with amusement your ill-defined conspiracy theory claims that the election was stolen by the Republicans. Personally, I'm shocked that your kind would admit that we backwards country bumpkins in "Dumbf***istan" could pull a swift one on your oh-so-intellectual elitists.
Even more amazing is how you completely ignore the will of the people you so often claim to represent. But, in the final analysis, you really don't represent Americans. You represent libertyphobes, terrorists and every tinpot dictator who cannot abide by people living free anywhere.
I hope you and your kind will make good on your promise to leave this great nation. May I suggest that you make your new residence in the Liberal Utopias known as Cuba, Iran, China, and the Palestinian Authority? You might want to also try Iraq. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you on the evening news with your Jihadist buddies just before they saw your idiot head off.
So kitchy-koo, you incomprehensibly stupid bastard.

By the way I'm found this online. I didn't write it, and it never says once that the republicans stole the elctions. Most often I hear this, and most often I hear well than why was clinton elected. Really I don't know, but these are facts so I've posted them at a few sites around the net, many I know that are pretty liberal, and many I know that are pretty pro republican.
I have only had one person try and debunk the facts, no ones really done a good job. I've played moderator in most of the forums I posted this on, because I really dont know how to feel. You guys are welcomed to debunk or applaud, just avoid the petty, and stupid comments that this thread is filling up with already.
Id thought I would post this here and let it fester for a good 24 hrs before adding in the objectiveness I was going for in this thread....
have fun.
