Identifying hyphae

I can't seem to find any pix of primordial hyphae anywhere.
I'm looking for filamentous strands...I see something of the sort in my casings...I guess I would say they look like little white dreadlocks.
Anybody have a pic?

You have much to learn. I dont know why you even post here, you should still be reading. DId he ask for rhizos? No he wants hyphae. Its the mycelium in its inmature form beofr it goes rhizomorphic.

the casing layer looks a little dry...is it?
next time...put the casing in the fruiting chamber quicker. before all the mycelium is all over the top of the casing layer.
you want the mycelium to be just breaking the surface.

Side note : not for you kronny...for the flamers in this thread.
Stop all the flaming in this thread.
consider this a warning!~
I really don't want to ban anyone today...its such a nice day out.

I see some pins forming on your casing.
they look like little white balls.
shouldn't be long now.

Thats second pic shows a casing that should be at day 7-8 in the fruiting chamber. Pins will soon follow the knotting. There is some stroma forming on the surface meaning late initiation but you should be just fine if thats been in fruiting conditions for at least 5-6 days already Definitely a wee bit dry I agree Roadkill GL guys
