cambo strain?

it has been 20 days since i first knocked up the jars. and they colonized rather quickly, within 3 days. since then, ive noticed significant mycelium growth... but not any pins yet. ive been searching and i came to the conclusion, maybe theres not enough moisture content for them to start pinning. or maybe i should dunk and cold shock to initiate pinning. further more, ive read that deciding to wait patiently for them to begin pinning inside the jars (pf style) it will increase potency and yeild? im not too sure if this is a fact or fiction. either way, i have the jars incubating at 86 degrees fahrenheit. any help is greatly appreciated :-D

ps, i have been searching this forum for days on end now to find useful past posts with similar occurances. ive found a few, but none answered my questions, which is why i decided to post. thanks.

The temp is too high to intitiate pinning. Birth, do a fridge dunk and fruit them in a terrarium thats in the 70s temp range.

I just did 12 of cambodian as well and those mother fuckers are tearing it up! The only guys that are slow so far are the Golden Teachers, but i am trying my BEST to be patient.

You should dunk and birth those cakes, and as midway mentioned; your temps are too high for pinning.

thanks again guys. yeah as for the cambos photoguy, how quick did it take for your jars to colonize? mine took no more than a week to be completely white. i was pleased :-p well... off to dunk and roll!

My favorite way to dunk used to be to fill up the space in the jars with cold water, re cap them, then let sit in the fridge for 8-10 hours. Cold shock and dunk at the same time. Make sure your fridge is clean!
