Brown streaks in stems bad?

Hey guys... I don't have pics right now because I'd have to open my double tubs to take pics of the fellas in question...
But here is the deal:
I had a fairly successful first flush, and all the stems were very white.
Now the second flush is coming along (and it's actually looking better than the first flush as far as size and quantity is concerned) but I'm noticing there's this brown streaking occuring in the stems.
Is this normal??
It's hard to describe what I mean by brown streaking... it's consistant, all around the stem... just fine brown streaks mixed into the white.
I'm worried that this could be a sign of some kind of contamination.
They're growing strong, and there's no scents other than the usual friendly mushy smell.
They don't look like "bad streaks"... it doesn't look like rot or anything... but I'm still concerned because the first flush didn't do this.
Can anyone give me an idea based on that? Or will I have to wait til harvest when I can take pics to get an idea of whether or not this is a problem?

It's perfectly fine; brown streaks are a result of high humidity.

Woo... thank you very much diver.
I knew I had high humidity cuz most of my caps were growing a little fuzz... so this fits right in with that.
Sweetness... this second flush is gonna rock out.

5 year bump! Dang this thread is ooold.
This thread just answered my questions too. I had some brown streaks on about 10% of my 1st ever unmodified monotub and the humidity being too high is definitely the answer. Thanks guys!

Generally on forums I think its typical etiquette not to bump years old threads unless you have something new to add to it. Not the end of the world or anything, just giving you a friendly reminder so you dont get yelled at by a mod lol.
Welcome to shroomery Dont bump old threads lol
