Didn't pasturize, didn't sterilize & we will see.

I'm posting these here, because they should all turn into a contam farm.
Which, I think they will, but maybe - just maybe ......not.
We will just have to wait & see, day by day & I will post update pic's.
If not, I discovered two (2) differing things. An Innovative cake & bulk substrate with optimal growth nutrients & a inventive method of preparing it.
They were knocked up the other day & have began to colonize cleanly.
UPDATE: (still going strong & no contam's)

This is looking so good, I decided to whip up a bigger batch to test run out. The white you see is condensation, not myc. These have not been knocked up - yet.

whats in the jars?
Did you do multi-spore, karo, or grain?
-------------------- And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk ...four times already this year and I used to be over by the window and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and its not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire.

I have used all three (edit to add in individual containers), colonized WBS, Liquid Culture & MultiSpore in this test series.

About 90% colonized. Seems to be about 10% a day colonization rate.

Looking sweet, I was jus curious, what's multi-spore? I probably know what it is but not familar with the term. O and those jars look strange, i've noticed that Pf cakes and grain cakes look different. Or maybe it's jus my cakes, my pf's always looked like that whereas my wbs cakes were much of a brighter white and had rhizomorphs. Hmmm, just an observation, Gl, looking nice

A spore syringe would be multispore.

Hm, why is that considered multi-spore? Because it has millions and millions of spores?
Well what exactly is an isolated strain? I thought that it had something to do with cloning and using agar...

Isolate is healthy myc from agar plate (into spawn jar, or LC), or shroom tissue (clone).
MultiSpore is syringe load of spores, which have to germinate, mate & grow.
Isolate, or clone has done that already & is from prime growth or shroom.
Multispore is like gang-bang. Never know what the babies might be like, other than general strain charicteristics

Well.... we are about there & it took a week. Others are a few % behind. Going to give them a day or 3 more, to make sure all are at 110% colonization, then go from there.
Think I will shred one or 2 in a sanitized food processor & spawn into bulk of same substrate.
Others, I suppose I will fruit out as cakes.

Hint - Cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, fiber, carbohydrates, proteins, oils, lipids, polymers, vitamins, nitrogen, soluble macro mineral trace elements, and cultured (dead) cells of certain microbes, mixed into a holding material that has a high moisture & nutriant retention capacity, as well as good permeability to gas/air.
In other words, Sub will remain a mystery for awhile, as well as how it was pre-treated - prior to being innoc'ed.
