peat moss as growing medium
    #378492 - 08/25/01 11:54 AM (22 years, 7 months ago)

would it not be almost completely sterile and fully productive to use plain peat moss as the growing medium? Just use fresh peat moss in a
sterilized tupper ware container and inoculate with syringe, should it work? all responses r greatly appreciated

if you're trying for the first time.... don't experiment, go for the sure-fire methods -- MMGG or PF Tek (...almost the same).

peace out!

I was low on verm one time and substituted half of the verm in a pf tek method with peat worked very well. actually colonized faster. Been doing that mix ever since and have used soy flour instead of brf. good luck.
