Problems with weed, is salvia recommended?
    #3751409 - 02/08/05 03:18 PM (19 years, 1 month ago)

If I have problems with smoking weed(makes me paranoid and always a bad trip) will salvia have the same effects? I have been searching for a drug that doesnt fuck me up(mentally) so far weed, and meth do this to me. But DXM seems to have a positive outcome when I use it. I am hoping salvia will be good but i'm not sure. Please help!!

Don't take Salvia so lightly...it is NOT a replacement for weed, its not a party drug, and its not something to do for fun.

You should probley get down with smoking weed before even thinking about touching saliva.

Next time you smoke...make sure it is in a care free atmosphere. In the comfort of your own home, when you know you can't get caught by parents and such. Just smoke and enjoy it...

How could you put the paranoia caused by weed in the same area as the paranoia caused by meth?!

I've gotten some strange thoughts after smoking weed, but then I realize they're just stupid and paranoid and forget about them.

Different cannabinoid profile will help you, as well. Some bud will just plain make you paranoid.

I used to get bad anxiety with weed, but then I realized that I had to trust the drug I was using.

Once I realized that no matter how high I got everything would be okay, I could enjoy weed.  Like others have said, prepare your envirnment before smoking and pay attention to mindset and you should be okay!  Trust MJ!  She's a sexy girl and she just wants to have fun with you.

Stay away from salvia if you have issues with weed.  Salvia is INTENSE.

Using drugs to escape is not a good idea. How old are you bro, just curious.

I know what he means. I love weed, but I will admit that when I'm stoned I feel as if everyone is judging me, everything I say sounds stupid, and I just generally feel "weird". But that doesn't stop me from doing it, it's sure better than being sober!

I smoke cigarettes and cigars. Those arn't a problem. I can enjoy weed I just have to be in the most care free inviroment were I am not expected to do anything. But that is rare. Plus weed changes me and afterwards I think that I shoudnt have done it. I'll just stick with DXM which is 1000 times better than any drug I have tried.

And gdman I am 18, and whats wrong with escaping? We all try to escape when we do drugs, why else would we do them?

You haven't done mushrooms or acid yet I'm guessing?

Salvia usually should be preceded by more tolerable drugs, like MJ and mushrooms, but nothing really prepares you for the trip. You've got to have the personality to absorb salvia, as otherwise she might scare the shit out of you.

Don't start salvia just because you don't like weed. Try other legal drugs in that case, perhaps kava or such. I wouldn't recommend alcohol as I don't really like alcohol, but many people use that as their recreational drug instead of weed, despite the fact that it's addictive and damaging.

Salvia is nothing like weed... besides, you'll only escape reality for about 10 minutes, then you'll just be wondering what the fuck just happened to you...

as for paranoia...weed never made me paranoid, meth never made me paranoid, coke never made me paranoid, lsd never made me paranoid, and shrooms made me paranoid once for a minute at dennys.  some people are more prone to paranoia than others.

you know, a few times when consuming too much alcohol, I've lost touch with reality for hours on end -- literally -- blacked out and lost many hours of my life.  so if you're looking to escape reality then there's your answer.

Kratom? Kratom is very relaxing (minor muscle twitching every so often) and perfectly legal. I actually enjoy kratom more then herb...I can't think very well on herb, but it is a bitch to drink.
