pure petrol or the one for cars?

I bought some technicaly pure petrol today, a tiny bottle for 2,4 euro!
Expensive I could get two liters for the same price if I'd have got
the ones they use in cars. Now can I use the stuff that cars use?
Its for taking the labels of the jars.. That glue can be tough!

There is an orange based solvent that dissolves adhesives very well.

if ur just using it as a solvent to clean stuff then regular petrol as used in cars is fine. though you will probably find it a bit smellier than your "pure" petrol. nice to hear someone call it "petrol" in this north american dominated forum!

cheers.
