Very weird MJ experience ?!

Ok, something very strange happened last night. A friend and I picked up some pot from our usual tinny house, with our aim being to push the boundaries... basically, to get pretty damn blazed .
The pot itself was nice and green, smelt good, and was covered in small translucent white crystals.
We proceeded to smoke it in his bong. My friend decided not to have as much at all, so I had the rest. I lay back on his couch, very tired. As I lay there in the dark, I felt more and more stoned as time went by, much more than I ever had before. I started getting minor OEV's - walls slightly bending, pulsing etc. When I closed my eyes the patterns were fantastic, swirling and geometric, very very colorful. I can't remember much after this.
The next day my friend told me something weird had happened to me, because I had been going on and on how my stomach felt like it had "broken" and there were ants everywhere.
Now I have to ask... what do you guys think happened . I feel great today , so it can't have done any harm.

You smoked something with THCV... you're in the right area.

Heading to bed now...
Note, THCV is YAAC (yet another active cannabinoid), though it appears to be a particularily psychadelic one. THC is psychoactive, LSD is psychadelic. So, basically, the marijuana you got had a high enough concentration of THCV in it to produce a psychadelic experience, not unlike (though still its own) that of mushrooms, acid, or other "psychadelics". You did absolutely no harm to yourself, and you should feel great - there's people that go their entire lives ingesting lots of marijuana and *never* get enough THCV to trip. Welcome to the club .

Sweet, many thanks for the explanation. This experience was quite unlike the other ones i've had from pot gotten from the particular tinny house; perhaps they got a new supplier ... If so I hope they stick with it. Much less lazy, stoner-sterotype feeling.
I was pretty much just worried that it could have been brought on by a nastier compound like PCP which I've heard is a common adulterant.

This is one thing I love about pot. I smoke it about once every couple weeks or so, so my tolerance is really low.
I just sit down and smoke tons until Im completly blown away. Then out come the headphones and I just feel as if im floating beyond my normal boundaries of myself so to speak. Good times.

Wow, I know a lot about cannabis but I've never heard of THCV, that's some crazy stuff. I gotta look into this.

im pretty sure that pcp is the only thing your weed is gonna be laced with.
but even saying pcp is a "common adulterant" makes it sound like getting laced weed is at least somewhat common; ive been smoking for years and never had a laced bag.
did you feel THAT much different than you usually do while smoking? cause if you had laced weed you would know it.

In some places these days, they will tell you and charge more for certain adulterated types of weed; at least, I have seen it (with fentanyl and pcp). SOME people seem to prefer it and will pay more for it.

If it is adulterated.

Agreed.

Eh? Do you read these forums often? CEVs are actually pretty common with *many* kinds of marijauna.

but memory loss??
It affects your memory, this is a known effect of cannabis, so one would think at higher levels the effect could be... intensified to amnesia, hmmm?

And yeah, it couldn't have been a disassociative such as PCP, because in the description he made no mention of any effect of a disassociative, such as numbness, feeling outside your body, etc.
I'm telling you guys, it's just good creeper weed.

Right.
You can't even prove yourself right! You made an assumption, good for you; all I see is another cliche ridden, suppesod know-it-all on a message board who has time and time again come to prove themsevles as: an idiot.
