No, although the West(Best) Coast and East(Least) Coast are completely different socially, culturally, and most often politically. America doesnt need a war to figure out any problems within itself.

no I'm not talking about east versus west or south versus north, shit. I'm talking about citizens versus big daddy Sam. and the cultural differences between east and west shouldnt be a problem hell each state has there own culture.

I hope not, Uncle Sam does more good for EVERY American than they realize. If some U.S. citizens felt that it was necessary to attack Uncle Sam (without being attacked themselves) I should hope that the rebellion would be crushed quickly and justly for the safety of the rest.

I knew you weren't suggesting a N/S E/W scenario, but it is just as likely as any other.

The only semi-plausible civil war I could see would be between the pro-gun right, and the anti-gun, conspiracist left......

We were probably closer to a civil war in the 60s, and even then we weren't very close.

The least improbable scenario think I could think of that would even come close would be if Hawaii tried to secede. My understanding of it is that a large number of Hawaiians don't even consider themselves to be Americans.

No way. The people are way too brainwashed.
Think of the people on this board. They understand how insidious and evil the government's war on drugs is, and yet they think everything else the government does is fine and dandy and in our best interests.
Forget it. America is done for.

Contradictory statement perhaps?

Hahaha.....yeah I guess. A lot of things considered impossible are probably possible as i've found out.....but still, the odds that this guy is legit are pretty slim. Still, it's always possible so......either way he made a lot of predictions that have come true, so....... Check out that site, you'll see what I mean, and what it has to do with a civil war in the US.

I don't think we'll see anything like widespread violence.
My hope is that with the budget shortfalls we face across the country, ever increasing property taxes, standardized educations failing, and more and more of the population believing they've been unreasonably represented that people will see governement intervention solves nothing.
If even small pockets of the country can demonstrate a better system then maybe it will catch on.
Reform will always be better than revolution.
