Anyone ever ran into someone that you only knew on the shroomery before you met them in person?

I ran into a guy i knew in high school at the city park a couple weeks ago. We got onto the topic of shrooms and i told him about the shroomery and he already had an account. I had never seen him on the boards before, but i was surprised to find out that he remembered my title when i said my login name.

I suppose so, but most people just read the TEKs and if they post, it's only in cultivation or mushroom hunting. Though lately I been seeing like 40+ people in the Pub at a time. CRAZY! Gets like this during the school year.

I talked to a guy on shroomery IRC from where I live and as it turns out, we worked together briefly years ago at a restaurant. Small world!
