Mutant Mushrooms
    #3640431 - 01/17/05 06:17 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

Actually, I have two questions. First, in the picture of my casing I hope you can see the mutant mushie in the foreground. It has two stalks and one head that is unfurling at the edges. There are a couple more like this in the casing. What the hell is it and what does it mean? Second, what do I do with a cake that has mushrooms growing on the top and bottom. As you can see in the pic, the top is great, but I've noticed when I pick it up that there is about 4 or 5 mushrooms starting on the bottomass well. When I put it back down on the vermiculite wont it fuck up those mushies, or is there something else that happens or has to happen.

those mushrooms on the bottom will probably just cause your cake to fall over.. which is no biggie really. as for mutants, mushrooms mutate like no other.. i have yet to have a cake tha was mutant free, and it doesn't signify any problems.
