cacti id help please

my friend went to az at the san pedro river and i asked her to snag me a cactus cutting.. well she sent me a whole big box so im wondering on species. they have mostly 7 ribs .. some 5 and 6 ribs. i dont know if this will be enough to id so if not let me know what else to include

Yes they are pedros, the other one is a cereus.

You should grow those and return equal amounts of cuttings back to the wild

San Pedro and Cereus species aren't native to Arizona so no biggie.

It's possible that they've escaped into the wild from landscaping.

Agreed. Trichocereus pachanoi and cereus peruvians.

the top of one is very mushy and leaking liquid.. is that rot ?.. or could it be from the cold weather when it was shipped? since san pedro was brought to u.s. anyone know who it was brought by ? thank you guys for the i.d. i really appreciate it.

Curt Backeberg appears to have been the one who brought T. pachanoi into mainstream US cultivation for grafting purposes.
