vermiculite seal
    #3527794 - 12/21/04 12:58 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

Is it normal for mycelium to grow through the top layer of vermiculite on PF style jars? It might have been mold because the jars were contaminated with cobweb and when i went to dump them there was white all over the top of the vermiculite and the other jars i still have might be doing the same thing, if so is it bad?

Are you sure it wasn't mycelium?

Spray a fine mist of h202, just 1 tiny pump (About 95% water, 5% Hydrogen peroxide) on the stuff you think is cobweb when the jar is ready to be opened. h202 wont hurt mycelium but it will kill the contam
