 Ok, Another Noob Question////....????

Ok so i have some new spores that will be in tomorrow... And i decided to mix up my jars tonight. On the first six jars i forgot to swipe the rim of the jar completely. Then pced them will they be ok?
And if they will be ok will they be ok if they stay in the pc overnight? They were done 2 hours ago and won't be ready to be noc'd up for another 14. Thats 16 hours after being cooked til they get noc'd. Should they be removed and stored in something else?
Should i just junk the whole project and start over? Thanks guys

Don't junk it bro. If your worried about contams from not swiping the jars, just swipe em, and p.c. again. also, you should leave them in the p.c. to cool off anyways. good luck bro.

Wouldn't doing that(pcing again) Throw the water inside the jar off? And to digging into the cakes and relayering the verm would just be asking for contams? Thats why i wonder if i should just start all over now and have them ready for morning? Rather woudldn't but how much of a threat is a wick (verm leading to jars end) if i practice the utmost sterilization (glovebox) from this point forward? Thanks for the prompt reply, i gotta make my decsion now what way i go! :-----)

Not wiping the top could make thema little more open for contams so just be extra careful. leaving them in the pc to cool is a good idea.

dont pc again! pc'ing kills everything so dont worry about not wiping! you should cleanly take em out--tighten lids and place under/in something till you Noc em up!

Pcing is kills contams., so if you pc after you've opened it then u didnt risk any contam.s really. The water should be fine, and i dont leave mine in the pc, i like em to cool a bit faster and ive noticed that the pc keeps em hot for a long time, if u want to take them out, they should be fine unless u dont vaccum much or have a dusty room like an attic. If you used tyvek/polyfil then you wouldnt have to wry, you could store them in an attic and you still wouldnt get contams lol, as long as you do all the innoculationg/precudres right and sterile, well Gl and if u want some hardcore help or w/e u can Pm me, ill help ya if u want, that way you wont have to waste your time making threads and feeling...akward?...lol, well later and gl, i hope it works out.

Okay, so I was wrong, sorry, don't p.c. again. But with the fact that you didnt swipe them, I'de leave them in the p.c. until knock-up.

Yeah, sorry, i typed mine before you poseted, you just beat me to it. Anyways "Dashroomer", I'm just a noob tryin to help, but you should defenitly listen to those with more experience. Hey, at least I didn't give any REALLY bad advice.

Dude any constructive critisism is welcome and appreciated and if ever us noobs are off the wise ones step in and show us the light thanks everyone for your help much appreciated. I just lysoled the kitchen removed the jars and placed them in a plastic bag and then into my glovebox until 10am when the UPS man shows and i have my 2nd Round!! Ding Ding Ding!! thanks agian for all the help guys would never had made it this far w/o u/shoomery!!!!

I've left jars 5 days between pc'ing and inocculating with no problems. I'm sure lots of people pc and let cool overnight.
