Salvia divinorum very rarely produces viable seeds.
It is usually propagated by cuttings.

Yes, there are T.pachanoi, T.peruviunus and a few peyote in the picture.

Salvia loves rather sour soil(peat), doesn?t like direct sun the whole day, but 2 -3 hours won?t hurt it.
For substrate I would suggest to mix 4 parts of peat with 1 part of perlite and 1 part vermiculite.
Fluid fertilizer applied now and then.
Water when the soil begins to feel dry, but don?t water every day.
There is a roumor that it requires high humidity, but I havent found this to be true. They do just well also at 50% RH.
BUT, if you buy a fresh plant fom a greenhouse, then you should acclimatize it over a longer peiod of time, or it will loose it?s leaves.
Cuttings root fairly well when rooting hormone is applied and the cuttings stem is placed in water in a dark glass or rockwool cubes.
During rooting they need very high humidity, warmth and 24 hours fluorescent light a day if possible..

The best substrate I have found for taking cuttings is a 50/50 mix of Vermiculite/perlite. Place the pots in a tray with 1 cm or so of standing water in the bottom. The cuttings can then be left pretty much unattended for as long as there is water.

Rooting in a glass of water can lead to stem rot, which can spread between cuttings pretty quickly and lead to big losses.

Though I newer experienced stem rot while rooting, I did it also in a mix of perlite and potting soil(80/20) and it worked very well.
Your mixture sounds even better, since it is quite sterile from the start on, also very airy and it prevents light from coming to the stem. And air, darkness and warmth is what the roots need to form.
I?ll give it a try, thank you for the advice.

I'll try and get some MirAcid fert. to decrease ph, hope this will do, thanx for the info

You are correct, the one san pedro on the picture is skinny, because I asked a friend to care for my plants in winter while I was away, and he cared a little too much. He watered the san pedro too, therefore it grew so skinny with much water and winter light.

your plants are nice Anno, but maybe too shaded.
try to put them in a more sunny place:this kind of cultivation is not so easy, but it gives more powerful leaves!!
believe me

Peace

Good job Anno!!
Have you ever had problems with Cyclamen Mite (Steneotarsonemus Pallidus) or other infestation?
What are your solutions?
