Base of shrooms look furry and white...normal?

The base of my shrooms that are growing on one of my cakes looks like a white fur almost. Not sure if that is just mycelium or what.

Anyone know if this is a normal occurrence?

This is normal. Happens when humidity is high.

yup normal. Now heres a question. Does it mean humidities to high ? or just high as in about right?

Well I have read that humidity for cakes is ideally 95 - 99%, so I cant really imagine it being too high, but thats certainly not a guarantee.
