Oh crap, bad time-frame estimation
    #3441639 - 12/03/04 10:15 AM (19 years, 3 months ago)

What is the quickest way to go from birthing to harvesting.  It is now the 3rd of december and my cakes are just about fully colonized, but now I am going on vacation the 17th.  Should I birth the jars now and cut out uncolonized substrate?  I will be gone for a month and I'm leaving on a plane, so I don't think they'll let me bring my project :frown: All I am looking for is 1 flush, more if possible.  I think I have the equiador strain on brf cakes.  I wanted to try casing, but now I guess Im forced to go the quickest route.  If I case, should I not put it in the dark for 24 hours, im new to this, somebody please help

P.S. is there anyway I could store the substrate without it growing for a month or so?

just throw the jars in the fridge right before you leave, make sure you wrap them in foil real good so they dont contam. that will stop the growth and keep the jars good. then birth them when you get back.
