drying out boomers question

when u are drying out mushrooms do they have to be put besides each other or can they be stacked on top of each other and dried out like that? i have some casings that are about to be picked and i don't have much room, and i was thinking of using a old creatine container and putting some Calcium Choloride on the bottom and some wire mesh over that and then putting the boomers on top.

ur input will be greatly thanked by urs turely

They can be touching while drying. I wouldn't pack them together, but they can touch.
You should probably move them around after a couple hours so they dry evenly.

alright, sounds good. and does drying them out in colder temps keep them more potent than at room temp?

Nope,but over time storing them at cooler temps will preserve potency.
