Non Organic BRF, can it be used?

From what I have read, one should purchase organic BRF as it is free of fungicides which will inhibit growth. I have always used organic stuff for this reason, but a friend has a bunch of non organic stuff. I would like to make a batch of jars, but dont want to waste my time. Does anyone have experience with brf that doesnt say "organic" on the label?

Check for additives, preservatives, and the like, they will be listed on the label.

yea i used uncle bens before i knew any better (thx ramboner) and it worked. i mightve gotten better results with organic tho?

As far as ingredients it just says "Brown Rice". so i guess ill give it a go, it will be used as spawn so nutrional content is not as crucial.
