hunting for shrooms

Yeah i recently asked what shrooms could be find in my state but of course i got the reply that i needed to look at the mushroom hunting faq's. So i go and look at it and it does not mention anything at ALL about my state. All i ask is if someone could give me a complete guide of shrooms that i could find in MY state please. I live in the midwest, and that state is Missouri? All i here about is the northwest region and the southeast or mexico or overseas. Please help.

Before this is locked I will tell you this. In Missouri your only hope is to find Pan. Subulteaus. The season is long gone for those, but read like a mofo for spring.

Well, seeing how it's too cold up there for most plants to grow up there, there's no way you'll find active fungus this time of year.

And the FAQ does say something about your state, although indirectly:

Throughout the United States and Canada the species Panaeolus subbalteatus grows. Rather than create entries for states and provinces which would then have nothing else listed, it is probably a good assumption that this mushroom grows in those states and provinces not listed. Similarly, if it is not listed for a state or province, mentally add it.

It helps if you read the foreword. That said, I'm locking this thread because I've pointed out the information you overlooked in the FAQs and there's not really anything else to discuss.
