Ive never really done fondu.. Ive made lots of christmas treats using melted chocolate fondu style...

I know...

Strawberry Tuxedos..

Dark Chocolate
White Chocolate or Almond Bark.
Strawberrys and a small paint brush.
1) Put a toothpick into the stem of the strawberry and dip it into white chocolate.

2) Let it set and then dip one side of the berry into the dark chocolate, followed by the other to make a "V" shape.

3) Paint on a bow Tie and buttons.. Ive added a drawing to demonstrate..

These are a HUGE hit when entertaining.

Found this one on the net ages ago - its great!

5 slices bacon
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 1/2 pounds sharp Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
3 dashes Tabasco sauce
Parsley

Fry bacon until crisp and brown in 3-quart heavy saucepan. Drain and crumble; set aside.

Add onion and garlic to 1/4 cup drippings; saut? until tender. Do not brown. Add soup; slowly stir in milk, over medium heat; blend until smooth. Add cheese, a little at a time, stirring until melted. Add bacon, reserving some for garnish. Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard and Tabasco sauce. Pour into fondue pot and keep warm. Garnish with bacon and parsley. If mixture becomes too thick, stir in a little hot milk.

I've made some cheese fondue...here is the recipe I use

Get yourself the fondue pot, slice 1 garlic clove and rub it into the inside of hte fondue pot. Put the fondue pot on the hob with medium heat combine the following:

Ingredients:
3? cups Gruyere cheese (shredded)
2? cups Emmental cheese (shredded)
2 tablespoon cherry kirsch
1/4th cup milk
1 cup of white wine
1/8 teaspoon grounded nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon finely grounded white pepper

Once the ingredients are all combined and in a liquid consistency, take the fondue pot off the hob, put it on the burner and serve.

Usually we cut up cubes of french bread, some pineapple, cherry tomatoes, brocolli to dip...

Easy cheese fondue recipe which gets them begging:

For every two people:

1 can Campbells cream of mushroom soup
1 pound of medium cheddar shredded
1/2 cup dry sack sherry
1/4 tsp cayenne, or tobasco

place all in pan at same time and merely warm until all is melted.

For this one needs some good french bread cut into inch cubes and forks. You can serve half, keep the pan on stove and warm again a few minutes later, and then refil bowls so you don't have to use the fondue table rig. Enjoy. BTW, they do beg for it. If you ever publish this recipe then you must call it Erin's Fondue Recipe.
