bush imposes regime change in iraq. bad?
clinton BOMBS christian serbs on behalf of muslim terrorist. good?
bush bombs terrorist. bad?
sudan is out of control. 10,000 people dead a month. bush bombs sudan. good or bad? who knows with the left.

we have a war between christian and muslim fundies all liberal freedoms will be taken away, both parties want total control of the masses and world domination. But this is an old war and along the way enlightenment has stopped them in there tracks, lets hope it will this time!

im left and i dont realyl belive in clintons actions. hes a "lefty" maybe but not as a president. that whole lesser of 2 evils thing come to mind with this one...
anyway heres one lefty who, although i generally liked clinton, did not agree with many of clintons politics.
this is only my opinion and im sure it can and will be taken harsh but please do not take offense. a US left is like a real right. "left" is just a "more left" it seems...
but ya know we are all bias and both sides doubel standard... its how politics work. its ok for me to do it but never anyone else, its been liek that all through out history.

I think egos get too attached here. There is no "the left" or "the right." The terms liberal and conservative are not the names of baseball teams, they are adjectives used to describe a citizen's typical stance in the political spectrum...and it varies from issue to issue. This "us and them" mentality is a major reason why there is so much division in this country. Let's take it issue by issue, people.

do you really think our opinions are so limited as to be able to categorized as "good vs. bad"?
Clinton engaged in regime change in serbia similiar to bush in iraq? are you sure that was even the case? Clinton said the aim of the action was threefold: to demonstrate Nato's opposition against Serbian agression, to deter Milosevic from further attacks and to diminish the Serbs' military capability. When did Nato forces actually "impose regime change"? In 2000, the people of Serbia all rose up together and ousted the Milosevic regime. As far as I remember, the Nato bombing campaign in 1999 only weakened the regime.
oh, and just so you know, many on the left did not support the bombing of Serbia and Kosovo. There were massive, massive demonstrations against the war. All of the progressive magazines and newspapers wrote against it. I, personally, am still undecided if I support such actions - so dont collectively lump everyone's opinion into "good vs. bad" - it holds little resembalance to reality.
