Coco Coir

So I'm just wondering where the majority of you get your coco coir?

Are you ordering it online from vendors, buying it from some type of store (what type?) or what?

I can't seem to find it, though I haven't really tried too hard until now. As always, any help is appreciated.

Local Hydro ponics store. They have the best prices on it in my town.

I'm taking it this is something that Walmart/K-Mart lawn and garden centers will not be carrying?

I don't know if I even have a hydroponics store where I live, I'm going to have to check into this today.

pet stores usually have it as Reptile bedding or Forest Bedding (its a brick sized thing)

But mycosupply.com has a great deal for it.. check the site!

Just wanted to say that you guys all rock, and I'll be checking my local pet shop on my lunch hour today.  I really have to rush and get this ASAP because I have had some fully colonized cakes for about a week now waiting to be cased.

Muchos Gracias friends

I get it from mycosupply. It's actually cheaper to buy it there and pay for shipping then to buy it at any of the pet stores I've found around here.

Local indoor gardening shop.

$1.95 for a 1.5lb brick, which turns into 1/3rd cubic feet of substrate.. which is a lot! I broke off a tiny portion of the corner and, with added vermiculite, it made a huge bowl full.
