recommend me some metal

I'm going to make a metal song with a friend of mine (we both play guitar) but first we want to play some existing songs so we learn to play together well first. We want technical metal (fast is fine, but no yngwie malmsteen like fast things though) with 2 guitars in it. preferably that an be played without detuning and not too unknown so we can find tabs on the internet. I don't know much metal besides black and death metal but that is not what we're looking for so go ahead and recommend me some songs you think are good

raining blood-slayer
mandatory suicide- slayer

-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Here's some Metallica, they use two guitars in a lot of songs with Kirk being lead and James doing rythym.
Songs:
Orion Creeping Death Four Horsemen (not as hard as it sounds) Holier Than Thou Fade to Black or Nothing Else Matters (for a speed change) Phantom Lord
Try some Pantera like Domination or War Nerve
Patience is the key with guitar, regardless of how hard ANY finger movement is, with practice and a light grip on the guitar you can do it. Remember!

Opeth, Opeth, and uh... yeah... Opeth.
Any song will do.
They're the best out there right now. Nobody like them. Every member is a genious.

Another good metallica song with dual guitars is the legendary Seek and Destroy
Metallica has a lot of technical solos and riffs. Good stuff to learn. They play melodically for the most part matching their guitar riffs to the melody of James voice. Metallica!! RAWR!
Nothing gets me pumped up more than a good jam session full blast with Phantom Lord or .. god what's the name of track three on And Justice for All?

the only reason i've even heard of them is because my friend and i were at best buy browsing for metal stuff, and he found this cheesy-ass looking album called "metal church" with a bunch of leather-clad hairbanders on the front, and decided to buy it.. i was trying to get him to buy some manowar

You guys might want to check out The Haunted (anything off of one kill wonder) as well.
