 Drying bulk mushrooms

Uh, a friend of a friend wants to know if there are any more bulk oriented techniques to drying rather than using the fan drying 24 hours / desiccant 24 hours for optimum drying/potency loss.
Let's just "hypothetically" say that if someone had roughly 2400 wet grams of mushrooms, what would you suggest to dry them?

If it were me I would ripp mywindow screens down and lay the shrooms outover crates and dig out my space heater which would make the room very dry and about 95-98 degs. And put a couple of fans on them. They would be cracker dry in 24-36 hours

just take a room, and lay the mushrooms out ont he floor. do not stack them. throw in a few fans, and you'll be golden.

Food dehydrators are where its at. I like space heater set to about 95 with fans stuffed in a closet though. REALLY big dehydrator

You try fitting 100,000 mushrooms into a small rubbermaid with desiccant which is how most people dry their small yeilds. Bigger amounts are much different. You need to get creative to figure a way to fit 100,000 mushies somwhere that will dry them in 24-48 hours. Heat often isnt used with small amounts and sometimes has to be with larger amounts (without using up a rediculous amount of space)

Yeah when my friend had that many shrooms. He had no choice but to use a space heater. Besides them shrooms all got eaten by several dozen of his best friends in a matter of weeks. No harm to use a little dry heat to get that big job done

Just get a space heater that turns off when it tips over. It should be in a closet anyway with nothing sitting within a few feet of it, this should keep it from bursting anything into flames..

yes new/good equipment is a must....safety first!
the heater in a small room idea is a good one.... big ass food dehydrator!
