That's pretty badass.  I know nothing about digital art.  Pretty nice mix of organic/robotic/mysticism.

yeah, hes been working on it awhile! it turned out awesome though.

i still say you should submit some stuff to Wizards of teh Coast, they are always looking for new artists (and yours is good, AND it has that Magic card feel to it).

I really like it, only bone i'd have to pick is that it sometimes look really realistic, and then changes to a little-detailed anime style look.

For instanse, that snake on the sword compared to the blade

Host: I've heard whispers about the financial support your government receives from the drug industry.
Peruvian: Well, the irony of this, of course, is that this money, which is in the billions, is coming from your country. You see, you are the major purchaser of our national product, which is of course cocaine.
Host: On one hand, you're saying the United States government is spending millions of dollars to eliminate the flow of drugs onto our streets. At the same time, we are doing business with the very same goverment that is flooding our streets with cocaine.
Peruvian: Mmm-hmm, si, si. Let me show you a few other characters that are involved in this tragic comedy.

Looks fucking awesome, dude.  My only complaint is not really a complaint and more of an observation:  it looks to me like the goblin has blue boogers.  That's cool, though.

great job, fuckin' a.

thanks

just one layer....  everything was painted together.  I basically would sketch the outline on paper (about half was sketched first, rest was just sketched in photoshop with mouse), scan it, color it in with flat colors (only 2 colors, flat blue or flat red), then use white/black dodge/burn to add the lights and darks.  Everything else was done with varying pressures of the smudge tool....  I guess it wasnt unlike finger painting with a mouse.

I'm still learning anatomy, but every once in a while I'd look in the mirror and flex so-and-so muscle as best I could to see how it went.  The thighs were the toughest part to get right I think..... that and midsection torso
