tyvek question

When you use tyvek as a filter on pf type jars, should you also put the metal lid on with the polyfil filter? Or could the jars be ok with just the tyvek?

Either works. Most people use the metal too. Using just tyvek could cause your jars to dry out if not kept within a slightly humid environment. I would suggest putting the metal lid on with some holes in it.

My incubator keeps the humidity very high, so i think i am just gonna go with the tyvek. thanks for the info...
