Greeting from Edmonds!!! 9-28-04
    #3191985 - 09/28/04 03:02 PM (19 years, 6 months ago)

First off, Edmonds is west of Lynnwood which is about 200th street north of Seattle, so the climate varies little from Seattle. I decided to check a reliable spot last year and lord behold! CYANS!! A large patch of roughly 100!!! I picked 56 of the older specimens and they seem to be doing great!

This is by far the earliest I have ever seen them! Many carmel pins were poking there heads up as well!

As for pics I have some but my camera is not functioning properly, and they will be posted shortly, I use a video camera/camera and it says there is a condensation error, anyone know what this means??

How long ago you live here?

This town is hell for picking in the daytime, old folks and 30 year old mothers who will stare at anyone.

The habitat pick is pretty lame, but I don't think many people would have enjoyed taking pics where I was. The specimens were very dry as hell, we really need a rain to set off this season, many pins were stunted.

I think there are gonna be old folks and 30 year old mothers who stare at you anywhere you go. If you make friendly contact, they will leave you alone.

Thats fckin rad dude.

Dont worry about the staring faces
Not much you can do when picking cyans
they love growing in public places
But 5-0 on the other hand, haha, watch out

btw. does anyone know the "deal" with leo and hunting actives? I thought it was technically not illigal to poccess freshly harvested psycho actives.
On one occassion a security roller for the "parking lot" or something tried to stop me and question me
I managed to talk my way out of it, but for a minute the dude seemed serious and was considering giving "another dispatch" a ring.
weird stuff

What sort of area did you find those beaut's in? Can you describe what iw was like. I'm thinking about searing for some myself. But I'm not sure if I have the right sort of area around me. They like wood chips I hear?

Parks, and public offices and buildings are your best bet because they cut down hardwoods, and rather then paying to get them moved out they chop em up, and throw them in every bed they can. So yeah, wood chips.

Here's a good one. If you're young and look like a student. Just carry a backpack and a mushroom book. Ask lookieloos where some nice specimens are and look excited!
Oh, and don't use a garbage bag........

Is your camera a sony? I remember seeing that prob it was when the stuff inside the camera gets damp and it has a censor that tells it not to turn on so it doesnt fry itself. Just leave the camera in a warm dry place for a while and the prob should go away.
