Soaked rye and forgot about it

Heh, as the title of the post suggests, I left my rye grains to soak about 3 days ago and forgot about them. They look fine. Can I still use them?

Give em a good rinse. 3 days isn't too long. They'll be fine.

I just did the same thing. I left a shitload of rye soaking for about 2 1/2 days. I rinsed it really well simmered and cooked it. Looks good still. I inoculated yesterday or i'd tell ya how its goin. Looks like we're in the same boat. Go for it.

Should be good, I've left rye for 2-4 days on different occasions to soak. Gets really smelly so just run some water through it, though it isn't necessary.

Stir it up and make sure its not germinated. I've had some germinate after 48 hours (very green). All were stuck together and had a root started from each. Dont use if this happens as they are no good. If they look fine though then they are. Germination is the only problem. I had really greenish fresh rye though when that happened...but yeah rinse and PC like normal!
