perlite or lava rock?

i'm not going the humidifyer route, i'm using a rubbermaid jont and putting the cakes in there. should i use perlite or lava rock?.....how about what works best? :smile:

DO NOT USE PERLITE! You will regret it, It's the most annoying shit on earth.

My first PMP I used it with VERY bad results. It clogged the air income and made a big mess. then I went to LAVA ROCKS and they worked very good.

I suggest you use lava rocks perlite is the worst thing you can put in a PMP.... IMO.

humidifier 9.50 vicks cool mist wally world

worth every penny too

but one thing i have seen in the past not so much any more is getting a fish tank air blower and with the stone at the end and putting it in a tall cup to aid in humidity

but i never used a pmp so i dont know what works best
