 a little scenario/analogy for you guys

ok this is an analogy for something that happened to me today.
say that im a nutritional expert. one day im casually telling you about an experience of mine eating a certain food that is known to make people vomit. needless to say, on this occasion i vomited. so it is assumed that you understand that this food may or may not make you vomit if you eat it.
so a few months later, i show up to your house with this particular food that i got for free. i say "hey, you can have it all, i dont really want it." without thinking, you begin to eat the food.
you vomit.
would you feel justified in being angry at me because i assumed that you knew/remembered the potential effects of this food and did not warn you when i gave you the food?

well, if you tell me this food might make me throw up, and then you offer me some, im not going to even eat it if it doesnt taste good...why eat something that tastes like shit and is gonna make me throw up? if im gonna throw it up later, it better taste good going down...
edit: one exception...mushrooms taste like shit, and make me throw up, but if you gave me some mushies id sure as hell eat them, and not be mad at you what so ever

ok well i will tell you what i am referring to so that maybe this makes sense.
ive told my roommate about savlia in the past. ive told him about my one break through, and how it made me uncomfortable for the first part of the high.
so today i got some salvia for free. i gave him the bag and told him he could have it all. so he smoked some, got really fuckin high, kinda freaked out a little bit, and after he came down started yelling at me because he claimed that i did not tell him how powerful the experience was going to be.
first off, ive told him about salvia before. second, its his fault for not ASKING and RESEARCHING what drugs hes putting into his body.

ok, well with salvia (and all other psycadelics) i find it VERY hard, if not IMPOSSIBLE to tell you how its going to be. words are just to primitive of a medium to describe its effects. and thats what i tell people when giving them psycadelics for the first time. i try to explain the best i can, and end with something like "after everything i just told you, you still have NO idea what its going to be like" salvia was the most intence high i have ever felt, of all the times i have tryed it, im still not sure as to weather i like it or not...powerful to say the least. to answer your question, no, its not your fault. there is really no way to understand whats going to happen with these substances until you have tryed them. give him time, he will get over it.

my friend that just got back from burningman. he actually had a couple bags of speariment, passion flower, etc and i asked him jokingly if he had any "wise" sage and he threw me a bag of what could be some sort of extract..i dunno i didnt try it but like i said it seemd to send my roommate into a drooling state :p
