I am about to go on another San Pedro adventure. It has been about three years since my last and I wonder what will be this trip. So I would like to hear, in detail, as many trip reports, with San Pedro, as possible.
The faq post says this will help me on my journey.

i am in the same boat, I am actually boiling it right now, I have tried eating it before but it just made me gag from the taste..
anyways, speek up people with your tips on San Pedro tripping!!!!

1) Lemon juice? Ditch it. Doesn't aid extraction.. I see it mentioned in a few teks. It just makes it more bitter.
2) Don't keep it on full heat, just about a simmer-boil, or you risk losing mescaline.
3) Boil down as much as you can. You'd be surprised how small of an amount is left.
4) Addendum to #3: Dried pedro/ptorch is better.
5) Very calm, non-intrusive trip. Comes on slow, doesn't BLOW YOUR FUCKING MIND away until you've calmed down and recognized the drug and how it makes you feel..
6) It can take 2-3 hours to reach your peak. Sometimes I sat wondering if I put the heat on too high, only to find my carpet turning into water.
7) Pot greatly aids the trip.
8) It is a daytime/nighttime drug (like LSD).. at least for me.. I could never do shrooms, DXM, or LSA during the day. Even with sunglasses.
9) If you freeze your final boiled down product, it is easier to take chunks off and swallow them like horse pills. You gotta do it fast, or it turns to cold mush at room temp.
10) Keep in mind you're not gonna OD, because it is impossible. Mescaline is a very grounded (down to earth), visual, and enjoyable chemical. Timetable for the trip.. 12-16 hours, maybe more, depending on dose. Don't plan on getting any sleep.
