My encounter with a prescence

Tonight as I layed under the stars watching tonight's meteor show, I became aware of an alien prescence. Every few seconds, a bright meteor would streak across the sky, followed by a tail of smoke. This enthralling show began what I would describe as hypnotising me. I first became aware of this when a breeze picked up and trees started rattling. I realized that the trees were communicating with each other in a musical symphony of varing tones and frequencies. This shocked me and upon closer scrutiny, I noticed that the trees had aura's that were swaying in time to their conversation.
I then sensed a prescence in myself. In wordless communication, the entity made it's presence known and offered me what I took to be a riddle. As I thought about it, it began to repeat itself like a silent mantra in my mind. I could feel my mind being pulled as the sides of my brain felt like they were growing together and functioning as one piece. I then left my body.
I found myself in the company of several beings. They communicated in the absence of words and time. Their speech was again musical, and the syntax was such that ideas were conveyed simultaneously and resulted in a melody of sorts. They claimed that they had encountered this planet by riding the comet which had produced tonight's meteor shower. They explained that meteor's were the universes sperm that fertilized planets with life, and if you follow a comet's orbit long enough, you would surely find intelligent life on a planet near its orbit.
They said that they had been enthralled by this planet because it was so sad. To explain they showed me true happiness, an infinite bliss. And then they showed me the human collective conscious. It was truly sad. The visitors said that they had zeroed in on the source of these feelings and found that they resided in the subconscious and these feelings manifested into conscious behavior that was both destructive to a person and the people effected by their behavior. These feelings were purposely being introduced into people's subconscious by a group that had been together for 2000 years. This group had taken a source that produced enlightenment and shrouded it in mystery to the rest of the world. This wonder medicine fell into the wrong hands, and it was used to control the masses. They had sensed that people were starting to wake up despite this group's influence. They told me that the only way I could help was to spread postive unconditional regard to everyone I encountered. They then said it was time for my return.
I felt myself collecting once again in my body, and I sat for some time thinking this over.

It occured to me that this episode could have been a figment of my imagination, so don't take it too seriously.

Well...either way it's a good story , thanks! I especially liked the part about meteors being the sperm spreading life to planets.
Were you...uh...in a chemically induced altered state?

I have a similar story to tell after lunch. It's more on the scary side though..

If I smash two rocks together, the little flakes are like sperm?

You could say we are spores of the earth, waiting to infest other planets as soon as we ripen up to space travel. But that's silly, I know :/

That makes more sense than some space debris colliding and miraculously turning into life-seeds.

It's called "panspermia" theory.
Halley's comet for example is now thought to be about 25% organic molecules. Get enough of them crashing into the earth and you'll have all the basic elements you need for life.

If you dip them in spores (fungus cum) and launch it out of a volcano into space away from the sun. Seriously, Swami. It really is not that bad of a theory that meteors or shit falling out of space could have brought life here to this planet.
That is unless life is a manifestation of natural repeating cycles and spontaniously happens. I'm surprised your not happy with that as a theory. I remember seeing it on PBS or the learning chanel. It was only theory though.

I was actually thinking something like that. Possibly that we are like a massive clusterfuck of mycelium that don't realize we are all cells to a multicellular blob. That we are latantly just waiting to spread spores when fruiting conditions come along.
We won't live to see it if it happens, or at least I doubt it.
By the way, why the hell haven't we colinized the moon yet? What gives? They could set up "Disneymoon" and have a theme park.

Probably due to lack of supplies (ie oxygen).

Actually I heard about our galaxy containing alot of ameno acids. What's the deal with it?
I sometimes wonder if everything is just alive somehow, from atoms to the sun.

Well, what is the difference between alive versus not alive. Everything shares the common similarity of existence afterall.
