Attracting The CIA, FBI, DEA, FDA, with your own chatter!

Do you think that one person is capable of producing enough "chatter" on the internet alone, on thier own, to attract the attention of major intel-agencys? Like, if you sent lots of emails with some "key" "chatter" information... that they look for...some "key" words they filter through online and start to pick up on it etc. Words like Mujahadeen, bomb, kill, bin laden, infedel, terror, allah, etc....Im sure there are millions. I wonder if one person just did that on purpose (I sure as hell dont think I would) that they would attract alot of attention?

They're also concerned with hack, lsd, revolution, riot, drugs, freedom and anything else that's ill. Some kids got arrested for riding skateboards in front of thier house yesterday and it made the news, I can immagine they are also looking for skateboarders.
Of course I'm only asuming.
I wouldn't be surprized if there are alot of narcs reviewing this site alone looking for info on people's locations and activities. Fuck you narc!

with what little time and creativity i have, i can convieve of mass listening devices for phone/internet communication.
its pretty obvious, that the govt, with all its unending resources, and unending desire for controll, will create much more than i could imagine in this way.

I think people are under-paranoid. You don't think about shit usually, but the army recruiter called me the other day, told me about a charge that I got, that never existed, by that I mean the shit wasn't even put through, I never went to court or anything, never arrested, and then proceeded to tell me what websites I've recently visited. crazy shit man. I sent in for a free mug online. GO ARMY I'm joining the marines though.

I don't think it would take much for them to start a file on you, but in order to attract close attention you'd probably have to start making direct threats to the government, or start checking out library books or websites on how to make bombs.

If Echelon is real and on-line (which it most likely is) then all it takes is a single keyword for the system to flag the containing text. What it does exactly with the text, I don't know. I imagine there would be varying levels of scrutiny, some steps performed automatically by computer others actually read by humans (definitely the important ones are read by humans, but I would bet they use a few algorithms for the computer to "decide" if a message is important or not).
So yes, one person most likely COULD catch their attention with chatter no-no words, but it would probably be just as easy for them to rule a singel person out without that person ever knowing

You really think they have the resources to scan such random key words? That would be about 8 billion emails they need to review.

they definately have shit like that for telephones. i was talking with a professor of political science, who was an expert in media technology, out of class once who told me two stories:
1) that when he would talk with people in the middle east, he would just fuck with people by throwing "BOMB" into the conversation every once in a while because they had computer technology that would pick it up, but since he had enough clearance and recognition, they would just look who it was and ignore it.
2) one time that he was interviewing someone when he had some sort of extensive clearance, he was brought in a room that had two separate sets of thick plexiglass windows; two because the guy he was interviewing said that satellites already existed that could detect the vibrations of a window and translate that into words. oh and this guy was a guy who worked high up in the government and knew this technology existed, not some quack guy.

Encourage the Canadian government to stop banning Fox News. Their government is violating their right to free speech.

Most serious terrorist I would think wouldnt even use a telephone or computer, and they certainly wouldnt use the actual words, like: Bomb, Assasinate, and so on. They know what kind of shit is out there to detect them, and like I said, Its just a big cat and mouse game and at this point it's the U.S. goverment that has to catch up to the terrorists, even with all of thier technology. Interesting isnt it!? - THREAD STARTER
