72 hours till Coventry

Well, till the gates open.   :tripping:

Morning Phishgrrl!  We started preparing all our stuff for the car yesterday, it's gonna be tough for my friend Ani who's gotta squeeze herself into the back seat with all our stuff but as soon as we roll out onto the highway we each get our own personal  :spliff: so no one will be complaining..and right now I'm working on a driving mix just for the occasion.
Also, my friend J got in touch with me about his friend lucy, which is always awesome.  I'm so excited!!!!  I can't stop listening to Phish either, and usually I don't listen to a band for at least 2 weeks leading up to their concert, just cause...that's how I'm used to doing things.  But I can't stop listening to live Phish shows.

How was your weekend?

You're going to be in Phish Heaven with a smattering of Phish Hell. I hope you drive carefully and have a wonderful magical time.  Oh and of course do a little dancing for me k? I will think of you!

My weekend was pretty fun. We went on a boy scout family campout and took the scouts mushroom hunting.  They loved it.

Ahh that sounds like a fun time in the greenery.  I will most definitely dance up a STORM.  What else is there to do in the woods with awesome music and plentiful nugs?
We're expecting to hit HEAVY traffic mid Thursday afternoon when we get there.

yeah that's a good expectation! At least if you have tunes and joints and good company, (and air conditioning!) it should't be too bad. There will probably be kids running around entertaining people too, if it gets way slow.

I hate air conditioning, you need the sunroof open and the windows down on a road trip!

Unless of course it's ungodly hot, for me that would take 95+ or alot of humidity.

For the long open stretches of highway, windows and sunroof open is a must, with the tunes at full blast and conversation disregarded for the complete audiovisual experience of the trip.  CAN'T WAIT!

But while we're idling outside the gates to Coventry for like 8 hours, I think the AC will be pumped way up.

I always get out of the car and party with the rest of the passangers in traffic jams.

Have fun man, I'm sooo jealous.

I will, I'm glad my friend has a tiny digital camera cause I don't but I want to get lots and lots of cool fucking pictures...I can't wait to see what they pull, since the whole thing is going to be one huge spectacle...I mean, they all think Big Cypress was their crowning achievement, playing all night long, but I don'tt hink they'd do that again, people would be dead on Sunday, heh. But I think they're gonna pull out all the stops.
