Firstly it's hard to tell by those 3 beautiful
pictures you took, "and they are beautiful by
the way... We especially need a shot of the base
dig it up from the ground gently, ensuring to get the
bulb, or root.... also a gill shot , a shot of it sliced
down the middle and a spore print will ensure a more
positive ID... There are a few mushrooms which are similar
macroscopically to A. Muscaria.. especially in those stages of developement... such as A. flavacona or A. ceasaria...

Oh and what does Ned. stand for... ????

by the way, youll find it a waste of time and at best uncomfortable and distasteful to make use of these

LOL. I didnt/am not going to disturb them. I found them on a busy trail, and couldnt believe no one had messed with them. Just made for some good photos and a good vibe for the rest of the ride. :satansmoking:

Gnarly man!!! "youll find it a waste of time and at best uncomfortable and distasteful to make use of these" --I very much disagree with that...they taste like honey and open new doors in the mind that are normally shut. Eat them! - make sure they're Am Muscaria of course.

Found this old Amanita from Oregon Naval hopsital in Astoria. Do not go there since it is proteted by guardians who chase people out the locked gates and have cares toew.

Amanita muscaria, the family.
