I have been lurking around for a while reading as much as I can - I have come across an oportunity to purchase the following ---> (at a reasonable price)

Actually i know nothing about that autoclave  :sorry: I just use an old fashioned pressure cooker....

Usable volume 13 liters.....I think you can get a bigger pressure cooker for cheaper....

an autoclave is definitely a good idea to have... too small to cook jars in, but its great for agar, instruments, syringes, anything you forgot to put into the pressure cooker once it's already started...

the great thing about an autoclave is, you set the temp, you close it up, set the timer, and forget about it... it sterilizes for the amount of time you set and shuts off.... it makes no noise either... so you can even start it up, leave the house to do other stuff, and return to find your stuff sterile and cool and ready to use...
