Hm. Michigan Mushroom.
    #2868648 - 07/08/04 11:50 AM (19 years, 8 months ago)

Hello. I'm not normally a person who looks for mushrooms of the psychadelic nature but on my morning walk I stumbled upon a cow pie. And on that cow pie I saw a mushroom.

So I pciked it and brought it home. I got a spore print and it's jet black. The stem is also dark. I don't have a digital camera just a scanner. Do you know if this is even an edible mushroom? Thank you.

Welcome

You probably have some species of Panaeolus.

Type up a better  description, throw it on the scanner and post an image and we might be able to help you more.

DH

I just have a follow up question. I was looking up Pan Subbs on erowid and it said not to pick ones up that were on dung. Why is that?
