I'm looking for dessicant, and none of the local hardware stores seem to carry it (I called asking for damp-rid, or anything that's used to dry things out or kill dampness). I plan on going to Wal-Mart soon, but what the hell department would I find it in, in Wal-Mart!? Any help or other places to get it greatly appreciated..

Dont think it would be in WalMart, and its not at hardware stores around here either...

I ended up getting mine at a craft store called "Micheals"....Go to a craft strore and ask for flower drying stuff, thats what it for...

easy, go to the dollar store and buy a few kilos of dessicating cat litter for like a buck. its lust a big bag od large grain silica gel. you definately find it at a pet store. just ask for the cat litter that looks like little clear balls.

look in the cleaning isle for Damprid at Wal-Mart. I found a bag of about half a box of cereal for 3 bucks.... its hard to find, but they have it

Epson salt is very common in pharmacys and grocery stores. Its used as laxative. People soak there feet in epson salt and hot water. Throw on the driveway when it snows ect... You will not have a problem finding epson salt just ask someone. CVS the pharmacy up the street has got buckets for like a couple of bucks.
