Normaly I'd tell you to read the god damn rules(which you should still do), but I've seen enough of these mushrooms to tell you they're not active.
They're either Psathyerllas or Coprinus. If they're the later then you're going to end up with a nice pile of goo in a few hours.

You read now.
Pile of random mushrooms = bad
Your mushrooms = Psathyerllas = inactive.

The real question is why you killed hundreds of innocent mushrooms when you didn't even know what they were

pathyrella candolena not active. picking random mushrooms in quantity asuming them active not wise. waste of time picking all those when one or two would serve to ID them. i can tell you carefully piked each one keeping them intact. heres some advice, you arent going to find active wood loving mushrooms in your state.

that appears to be a corprinus micaceus
the one that you drew a circle around
if it is that is a ok edible, but to eat these you have to eat them fresh and prepare them the same day, i have aten a few of these( cook them) and they werent that bad.
