1st Flush EQs SBP Tek, PMP w/ Rope Light

Here is my first flush off EQs.

I used the SBP Tek and didn't get the greatest results, but a larger problem was with the colonizing of my popcorn jars which refused to fully colonize--i think i needed to simmer as well as use more spore solution which I was skimping on.

Questions:
1) Is now the time to pick or should I wait a bit longer?
2) Am I using too much light causing the shrooms to grow sideways instead of vertical (I'm using a 6 ft rope light on 8/16 cycle underneath the lid of my pmp)?
3) Any other suggestions to increase my yield? (I know that's a bit of a broad question, but suggestions are much appreciated)
