Same LC different look to mycelium - Why?

I squirted these two plates on the same day with the same LC.
1. Why do they look so different? 2. Is it contamination? 3. Should I make a few A>A transfers and if so, of which sections? How do I choose?
I apologize the pictures aren't crisp and clear... one of the downfalls of these dishes.

That top one is for sure contaminated all to hell. That's going to turn into a mold bomb. I don't see anything resembling cube mycelium on there. The other is hard to tell. If they came from the same LC I would toss it, it's no good.

Well shoot, I used that LC to inoculate 5 jars. I figured since the LC was a gift meant to learn from I'd just go for it I'm not going to toss anything but these plates for now. I can learn from those jars what contam looks like. And, I have other plates of mushroom pieces from the same LC which are looking good. I should be able to A>A a time or two and hopefully end up with clean for A>G.
Here's my jars so far. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in regards to contamination other than non-white?
Curious, incase I bomb on the agar transfers, has anyone transferred an inoculated grain or two that looks clean and good to agar to try and keep their source going?

Don't toss the second, watch it, you may be able to transfer away from the contamination in an SAB, then another transfer then make your own LC or do what I do and make 100 copies and store them in the fridge when they grow out completely.

You can pull different genetics out of the same lc too. Ive made a couple lcs from t1 ms plates and gotten vastly different tubs from it.

In your new pics the top looks like bacterial cube mycelium, the bottom could be clean. I would try testing another plate. Try to get less on it. It doesn't even take a drop, just a tiny amount. And bigger pics. I don't like how the top plate has thin spots and thick rings around the outside, that usually happens when it meets bacteria. The bottom could definitely be clean but need a bigger pic.
