And here we see the beauty of Democracy in action.
According to that chart, in 15 of the 50 states, the average IQ is higher than 100. In 32 of the 50 states, the IQ is lower than 100. How many states voted for Bush? 30.
What's the big whoop? Defenders of the Democratic process should be thrilled with this result. It's egalitarianism at its finest. Who cares if you are smart enough to understand the issues? What counts is that y'all get an equal vote, no matter if you're a genius or a dolt.

Anyone who actually places weight in the IQ system automatically has an IQ of 65.

Still, it's fascinating how a standardized IQ test can pretty accurately say who you will vote for.

In all reality, IQ tests are pretty fallible. Still funny though.

That chart is garbage. How can you have a state IQ? Did every single voter take an IQ test and report it when they voted? What about people who didn't vote? Do they factor that in?
Be wary of table and charts people throw out there to suit their own opinions and ideas.

From yon site:
"Error Correction: The source of this data is not "Wealth of Nations" as it had been attributed to us. A reader writes in and tells us he has the book (Sorry to hear that Mike) and the state IQ's aren't in it. This is a huge relief as the book is one of those race/IQ books. So we're still trying to track down the source for the IQ scores. As this is all a bit of good fun we aren't to concerned with the source. We know that Republicans are mentally impaired. If they weren't, that would just make them greedy. "
So.. that's more like an engine block of salt, not a grain..
