It sucked Kurt died in such a tragity, it makes me sad, and the whole Courteny Love thing just is kind of creppy.

I feel mad that Brad died of an overdose.

They were both great artists, and I enjoy their music often. I own nirvana and sublime albums, and I never got to see either in concert before they passed on  :confused:

I use to see Sublime perfrom before they made it big. As a matter of fact they weren't really that big until after Brad die. But growing up in Long Beach I was fortunate enough to see them perform in extremely intament surroundings; primarily Backyards come to mind.

I remember my helper being all excited and telling me about Nirvana back in the early `90s i think....we wore that cd out riding around in my truck working that summer and i really didnt like any of the new stuff that was coming out back then...
I hate what opiates do to people ....I grew up where that crap was everywhere and seen it weave its hurt and pain... :mad:

I miss him too, bro. That was an incredible year in my life and his music is so tied up with it.

I don't buy the conspiracy theory and I won't buy that book. Those people won't get a dime out of me. There is a nugget of truth in every conspiracy theory though that keep them alive. To me, it is that Courtney was bad for Kurt. They were codependant. But hey, unfortunately he chose her and he chose to shoot smack. His pain drove him in his life, but it redeemed itself in his music which will survive his death and live on forever..

There are a lot of great musicians that overcame Heroine like Clapton,most the Rolling Stones,Loe Reed and dont laugh at that because Lou was very popular back in the day...

aye Jellric, Kurt's music is timeless, the highest expression of punk rock before or since.
Thinking about his end makes me sad but he was an honest soul and he didn't betray himself and though he was weak in many ways he was stronger than most people in a very fundamental way cause he had integrity. I think no matter what happens to people after they die he isn't suffering anymore.
