 Looking for some emotional and passionate music

Hey, I've always been fan of dramatic and passionate (sometimes compassionate) music, but I haven't really had any luck finding any.
One example would be some oe Joe Hisaishi's piano music, which is great fun since I can easily play and thus manifest his drama into my own playing style (I'm quite a ferverous pianist).
Anyone have any suggestions for me? My soulseek name is daba just in case you would like to share some with me. Put slsk name here on this thread and I'll add you.

godspeed you black emperor, if you're into long post rock songs... they are well worth the listen to, if you have a spare 20-30 minutes a song

Why dont u try listening to some trip hop or down tempo? Very emotional and passionate.....

Emotional - Phantom of the Opera brings out the emotions in my ass - as gay as it may sound. It's fucking beautiful though!
Also Amazing Grace played on bagpipes jerks tears out of nearly anyone! haha.

Well it really depends upon what you mean by emotional... if you mean whiny, sad-boy type "emo" music, then I'd say Elliot Smith, Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, or Jack Johnson
Or maybe Neil Young? I always pop in "Harvest" or "After the Goldrush" when I'm feelin' down...
